As a Virtual Reality (VR) project, 'Crystal Cavern' stands as a testament to the power of immersive storytelling, exploration, and art. Within this project, players are transported to an otherworldly cave, adorned with luminescent crystals and mushrooms, serving as a testament to my ability to create vivid, atmospheric environments.
Serving not only as an artist but also as the project manager, I had the pleasure of working closely with our designer to develop and produce the 3D assets and the VR environment in the Unity Engine. As a result, I ensured the aesthetic coherence of the project, overseeing the project's progress from inception to completion, and making certain that our vision was fully realized.
The game invites players to interact with the environment in a truly immersive manner. Guided by an incandescent mushroom, players light their way through the cave, revealing its hidden treasures. Moreover, they can collect these radiant crystals in their personal mining cart, which enhances the sense of agency and exploration in the VR experience.
'Crystal Cavern' is a prime example of my ability to blend artistic and technical skills to create immersive, story-rich environments. Through this project, I have demonstrated my proficiency in VR and 3D asset development, as well as my capacity to successfully manage a complex project, ensuring all parts come together to form a coherent, engaging, and visually striking whole.
