Hi, I'm Riley Taylor, a multimedia designer with a passion for creating interactive and visually engaging experiences. With over 5 years of experience in the field, I specialize in UX/UI design, game design, and 3D art.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Digital Technology & Culture from Washington State University Vancouver, where I also completed a secondary major in history and a certificate in game studies. Through my education and work experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the intersection between technology, design, and storytelling.
As a multimedia designer, I have honed my skills in various software programs such as Figma, Blender, After Effects, Maya, Unity, and Unreal. I have used these tools to create engaging and immersive experiences for my clients, ranging from mobile apps to video games to virtual reality experiences.
In my work, I am driven by my deep love for video games, appreciating a wide variety of genres from both big and small studios. I believe that the essence of a great game lies in the escapism it provides through compelling storytelling, captivating worlds and characters, and engaging gameplay. Among my favorites are entries in the Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout series, indicating my particular affinity for RPGs.
Beyond my professional life, I enjoy camping, hiking, cooking, and indulging in various forms of entertainment, including games, film, TV, and books.
I am a dedicated and detail-oriented designer, committed to delivering high-quality work that meets the unique needs of each project. I am always striving to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the industry, and I am constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow as a designer.
